KL Day 03 & 04

Third day was planned to be a hair cut day. Nothing much special happened…

Then what? No prize for guessing the right answer, it’s shopping time again. Had KFC for lunch at the shopping complex and found the chicken to contain less fatty tissue than those in Singapore. Hmm…

We had some trouble looking for our dinner venue, which was meant to be at some 大排档. We had it in the end somewhere near ahL’s house. Some restaurant which was broadcasting a cable movie channel which I suspect it didn’t obtain license from the cable company…

Restoran Uma Rani

Shagged out by the numerous shopping trips the past few days, we spent most of the fourth day recuperating at ahL’s house. Luckily I was well prepared and brought a book which I borrowed from the library.

Robin Cook - Abduction

Robin Cook is a great writer for medical thriller and this book has a science fiction twist to the story, which is quite unlike most of his other books that I’ve read. From the back cover:

… [A] mysterious transmission from the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean leads a crew of oceanographers and divers to a phenomenon beyond scientific understanding — and a discovery that will change everything we know about live on Earth…

I covered the highest number of pages of this book this last day. Haha…

Then it was a rush to pack our luggage and wash up and dinner and travel down to the train station. Can’t thank auntie enough for her hospitality and uncle for his daily 爱心橙汁over these few days. And ahL’s brother for suggestions for places to shop and their directions, and for fetching us to the station.

And of course, thanks to ahL for inviting me over to his hometown. Hur hur…

Back in Singapore

AH~!!! Time went by so fast~!!! And *poof* we are back in Singapore.
