异/Ethereal (Part 6)

Ah… This is the dance which one of my partner said “敢敢让我跌!” I had seperate partners for each performing night and true to what one of them said, the “feel” for each of them is different. This item is new for me as it’s my first lyrical dance item and it involves more advanced execution. Have to thank my partners for tolerating with my not-so-skilled (and sometimes painful) ways of carrying them.

The learning progress reminds me of Miao Zu: A small, tight unit of around 6 people learning the same dance. Somehow the learning process is much faster and the movements are more coordinated. Having more dedicated dancers in this item is one of the possibilities.

Whoo! My first nice dance photo! Many thanks to the photographer whoever he/she is.

  1. I love this dance!!! XD I think the idea and the music and the costumes of the dance is great, but the dancing was a bit unsynchronized…

But I loved the story behind it. Especially the part when the three couples are (supposed to be :p) dancing together. But I could feel the emotions of the dancers. Aiyah its just so nice… 🙂

I hope I get to dance something like this someday. 🙂
