Feels like New Year once again.
I got my bookcase, at last! Bought it from IKEA days ago, and got it assembled with the help of my pop. (Why didn’t someone tell me that furnitures from IKEA needs hammering?) It has been one of my top requests for years and I finally got the blessings from my mum. I believe the mountain-high stack of notes and textbooks has got her attention…
And so I started reorganising my room and belongings and boy, did I throw away a lot of stuffs. Mum said that it’s ironic that I bought a bookcase to handle the increasing amount of lecture notes, only to throw so many of them when I have it.
Well, the room sure looks brighter and less cluttered at the end of a 6 hours cleaning session. And I finally have a proper place to keep my precious books and WIRED magazines… 🙂
It’s amazing how quickly I get the stuffs I want nowadays. Usually it’d spend me years: take the iPod for example. I have been wanting one ever since it was introduced and by the time I got it, it was already in its 5th iteration.
I sure hope I am not becoming a spend thrift. What’s more my spending power is reduced this month as I have decided to not work part time (or PassionWorks-ing) for the moment.
