Movie Preview: Batman – The Dark Knight

This movie features one of my favorite actor, Christian Bale. One should really catch him in The Machinist where he lost 27kg for that movie, and The Prestige. This also features Heath Ledger as The Joker. This is another promising comic-book-turned-movie franchise, which I believe will focus a lot on the plot and story telling. The CGI is fantastic of course. Guess I might have to catch this in Canada.

Random Thoughts

• It’s a pity that Heath Ledger has left us (due to accidental overdose of prescription drugs). The only other movie featuring him that I’ve watched is Brokeback Mountain.
• Maggie Gyllenhaal from Stranger than Fiction is in this movie too. Cool~!
• Finally I can embed movie trailers~! Copyright issues aside (I am helping them doing free publicity alright), I still need to think of a better workflow to accomplish this quickly.
• Playback experience might not be ideal due to bandwidth issues.
• I have serious difficulty studying for my last paper. It’s my first Level 4000 paper~! Stressed…
