Madame Butterfly’s Bdae

That was November December 30th, 2007.

Xuefen celebrated her twenty-first birthday at Essential Brews, Holland Village. How can (birthday) party goers like us give it a miss?

The food was really nice…

The venue had the right ambience and lighting and decorations…

And we people sure didn’t miss out chance to take the most outstanding group photo of the night. We started off tame, normal and innocent…

Then we stopped suppressing ourselves…

Haha…

Earlier in the same day…

A group of us went to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks at Bishan Junction 8 (Personal verdict: A very lousy movie). Siew Wan and ASHF were in matching attires and I took the chance to stir trouble and take misleading photos… Muah ha ha…

She as usual, is very uncooperative. So much for forcing other people talk about their new year resolutions in front of national TV. Grr~

Thoughts during the party…

1. Taking photos without flash is always better when using a point and shoot camera. The in-built flash is way too weak to produce a balanced lighting and subjects usually turn out flat when flash is used.
2. I was the only one not wearing according to the Winter/Christmas season color scheme: Green, Black, Red, White. I wore the summer season color instead. Dunno what went to me when I was choosing what to wear for the day.
3. It’s my first time eating such a huge chicken cutlet during a birthday buffet dinner.
4. Cameras without stabilizer works for owners/photographers with steady hands. The irony comes when the photos that the owner would be in are mostly taken by other people, whose hands are usually not so stable. Hmm…

On the next day…
